Movie Review #2 - Killing Zoe
Today i'm going to be reviewing a hidden gem of a movie called Killing Zoe. It's written and directed b Roger Avery, who produced and co wrote Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, and KZ also has Quentin Tarantino on as an executive producer, so you know it's going to be great. Avery has always kind of been in Tarantino's shadow, which is why i'm reviewing this movie to hopefully get his name out.
Killing Zoe starts off with Zed arriving in Paris, and meeting an absoloutly goergeous escort girl named Zoe, who he seemingly falls in love with. The two of them are having a great time, until Eric comes into thje picture. Eric is Zed's long time friend, and the two of them go over how they are planning to rob a bank the following day. With a pretty epic entrance into the bank robbery, it gets damn exciting. One thing goes wrong after another ( like most heist movies) and it all turns out to be a complete shit storm.
With great acting by all three of the main characters, fantastic dialogue all thanks to the genius that is Roger Avery, and polished cinematography, this movie is a must watch. For anyone who likes Tarantino, heist movies, and just plain old great stories, check this out.
Production : 8/10
